For my birthday this summer a friend of mine gifted me with a beautiful soap and scrub from Lush.
I knew Lush was associated with beauty products but I had never been interested enough to see what the company was about to to try their products – until now!
So, Lush is a British cosmetics brand specialising in soaps, creams, scrubs, shampoos, basically all things skin and hair. Everything uses a vegetarian or vegan recipe and they do not carry out animal testing. The business was established in 1995 by Mark Constantine and Liz Weir and has been going from strength to strength since.
The soap I have is called ‘Honey I Washed the Kids‘ and as the name suggests, the honey contained makes it smell and look almost edible, haha! It’s good to know that you’re using healthy and natural products on your skin.
And the scrub is called ‘Scrubee‘ which has in it cocoa butter and shea butter. It’s the best smelling thing you’ll ever use on your body, I promise, and it’s not just the fragrance that’s amazing. The first time I used it in the shower, I dried myself off as normal and was about to reach for my coconut oil, as is my normal routine, but then I noticed that my skin wasn’t dry! I naturally have quite dry skin and moisturising after contact with water is a MUST, but not with Scrubee.
These products are too luxurious for daily use so I ration them and use the soap followed by the scrub once a week.
Love on the skin you’re in and try some of these products today.
